The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is the enforcement ity that has jurisdiction over STAFFVIRTUAL’s compliance with Privacy Shield, and STAFFVIRTUAL is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the FTC. Please note that if your complaint is not resolved through these channels, STAFFVIRTUAL acknowledges the possibility, under certain limited conditions, for individuals to invoke binding arbitration before the Privacy Shield Panel to be created by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission.
Adherence by STAFFVIRTUAL to these Privacy Shield Principles may be limited (a) to the extent required to respond to a legal or ethical obligation; (b) to the extent necessary to meet national security, public interest or law enforcement obligations; and (c) to the extent expressly permitted by an applicable law, rule or regulation. Accountability for Onward Transfer: STAFFVIRTUAL will obtain assurances from third parties that they will safeguard Personal Information consistently with this Policy. Where STAFFVIRTUAL has knowledge that a Processor is using or disclosing Personal Information in a manner contrary to this Policy, STAFFVIRTUAL will take reasonable steps to prevent or stop the use or disclosure. In cases of onward transfer to third parties of data of EU individuals received pursuant to the EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield Frameworks, STAFFVIRTUAL is potentially liable.
